Corona virus and gold production

Today it was reported that three large Swiss refineries will be closing temporarily. They account for a third of the world's gold production. More info in this piece:

For a while now, we've been workling with Umicore, and we've taken precautions against the threat of shortage. All orders have immediately been converted into physical gold, so that we will be able to supply shortly after the end of the corona crisis.
